Our story: From problem to solution and endless possibilities

It all began with a frustrating experience we've all experienced: Everyone wanted to move into the second home, but no one wanted to pay, and money was always a sensitive issue. Constant explanations and manual calendar management were the order of the day: That's how Keey was born. A big thank you to our investors and partners—without you, this project wouldn't exist.

  • Because your time—and your friends’ time—is precious. Excel files, chat threads, and constant follow-ups waste time and energy. Keey collects everything in one place. You instantly see who’s coming when and who has already paid. That keeps the relationship personal and warm instead of transactional and tiring.

  • ​After registering, create your place in a few clicks: address, short description, a few photos—done. Then send the invite link to your guests. Each guest creates their own login. Keey automatically reminds them of booking rules and payments.

  • Adding your place and inviting as many people as you like is free. Keey charges a service fee only when a transaction occurs. You alone—as the owner—see this fee transparently before you confirm the booking.

  • Yes. Set an individual rate for each family member or friend. You can even offer your place free to your closest friends, with no hidden costs. Keey automatically applies the correct rate as soon as a person adds themselves to the calendar.

  • Only people you explicitly invite can see your place. Keey meets all data protection requirements. No one outside you and your circle knows when your place is free or what it costs.

  • Your sister opens Keey’s calendar, chooses the long weekend in September, and clicks Book. You get a notification and can approve or decline with one click. Once you confirm, the cost contribution and service fee are displayed. After payment, your sister receives the confirmation and all details for the key handover. No more chasing.

  • You set your own cancellation window in the property settings. If someone cancels at short notice, Keey automatically refunds the appropriate share or credits it to the next trip—whichever you prefer.

  • Add them in a few clicks. Each place gets its own calendar and guest list. You set prices and rules separately. Everything stays clear and centrally managed.
